Résumé

Christine Missàk-Ackermann was born on July 26th, 1959 in Sumiswald Switzerland.

In 1975 she started a commercial apprenticeship in a Swiss bank and obtained in 1978 the diploma of Zurich Business School. From 1978 – 1985 she worked for different financial institutions, mainly in the field of securities, stock exchange and foreign exchange. From 1985 – 1989 she worked for a computer manufacturer and was as the Controller’s secretary also responsible for the Swiss leasing and rental business. After some travel and staying abroad, Mrs. Missak took over in 1992 the purchasing department of a plastic container producer. After a part of the company had been sold, Mrs. Missak was asked by the mother house to take over their purchasing department, concerned with the needs of two Swiss glass houses, producing container glass. Besides the acquisition of raw material, energy and packaging, she also was project leader for the implementation of SAP in the Austrian and Czech works. After the closing down of one of the two Swiss factories in 2001, Mrs. Missak accepted a 50% employment in a software engineering company where she was responsible for finance, personnel and web design. Besides the job she started in 2001 the training for “Webpublisher SIZ” which she finished in 2002 with the official diploma. Since February 2005 Mrs. Missak is responsible for all financial and administrational concerns of the Morbidelli Group.

Having worked for the private industry for more than 30 years, the change to an international university like ETH, was quiet a revolution to her. But today she likes a lot to work in this international environment with a lot of young people.

Her hobbies are her flower and vegetable garden, acting in an amateur theater, drawing, painting and cookin.
